Så har hun et digitalt intervju. I neste klipp kan vi se at kvinnen har tatt på seg et profesjonelt antrekk. Hun går inn i en bygning og møter arbeidsgiveren, og de har et fysisk intervju. På slutten av intervjuet smiler hun og gir intervjueren et fast håndttrykk.

Application and CV
Although unemployment is low in Norway, there can still be strong competition for vacant jobs. If you want to work, you have to actively search for a job. It is important to use your contacts and network and show that you are interested in working. When you find a job that you would like to apply for, you will probably have to submit an application and a CV.
The application is a letter where you write a little about yourself and your background. The CV is a document where you briefly describe your work experience and education. The application and CV should be written in correct Norwegian. All the information you provide must be correct. It is important that the documents are easy to follow.
An employer who is going to hire a new employee will place emphasis on the person being the most suitable one for the job. He or she will also naturally consider whether the person in question has the right education or qualifications, but other things are also important.
Does the person who is going to be hired have
- experience
- good references
- personality that will suit the working environment
- qualities that suit the position
Interview
Before an employer decides who is going to get the job, they will normally call applicants in to one or more interviews. At the interview, the person who has applied for the job has the chance to present him or herself and the person responsible for hiring will get an impression of the applicant. Both of them can ask questions.
Interview tips:
- Find out where the interview is going to be and how to get there.
- Think about the clothes you are going to wear and what impression you want to make.
- Arrive in good time.
- A firm handshake and eye contact are important.
- Be positive, smile and try to build a rapport with the interviewers.
